The Institute of Education has extensive experience of devising bespoke support to schools. We have a wide range of staff and consultants who work in schools to support school improvement and build capacity for sustained improvement.

- Enquiry research based approaches to bring about improvements in practice and pupil learning
- School Improvement – support for all aspects of school improvement
- A day in the life of a headteacher - an opportunity for headteachers to improve their practice through supported self reflection
- The New Standards for Teachers – support to explore in detail the new Standards and how they can be used to improve teaching and learning
- Stronger Governance – support for Governing Bodies looking to continue to make further improvements in outcomes for all of the children and young people in their school.
- Impact evaluation – an innovative approach to impact evaluation that enables colleagues to tackle the tough issues of planning for, and evaluating, the successful impact of organisational initiatives and developments
- Improving performance management: improving learning – an innovative approach to leading PM that motivates staff and makes a difference to the learning and well being of children and young people
- Coaching for improvement – the coaching offer includes, coaching for lesson observation and feedback, Coaching to improve student behaviour, using coaching approaches to deal with challenging people
- Early Years – a range of support programmes for the Early Years
- SEN – support for all those engaged in special educational needs
- Teaching and Learning – We have a range of facilitators who can help you focus on different ways to improve teaching and learning in your school, such as increase the percentage of outstanding teaching and developing subject expertise.
